The International Kemer Underwater Days is an international organization organized by KETAV (Kemer Promotion Foundation), Mediterranean Archaeology Association and Akdeniz University Underwater Research and Application Center in order to introduce the underwater natural and archaeological values of Mediterranean Sea to the world. The organization is supported by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Antalya Governorship and Kemer Municipality. International Kemer Underwater Days is member of EUIFA (European Underwater Film Festivals Association) and United Nations Environment Organization UNEP-MAP Info RAC member.
Within the scope of the event for nineteen years; Underwater Photography Competitions, Underwater Movie Screenings, Underwater Archaeology Conferences, Underwater Photography Exhibitions, Underwater World Contest and Exhibitions Awards ceremony, concerts and performances, “My Underwater World” painting exhibition by kids, “Metin Pehlivaner” award is given to the who contribute Turkey’s underwater archaeology are organized since 2001.
In this year, event will be held on 16-19 May 2021 as online due to Covid-19 pandemic like last year. You may participate to the competition with photos or videos which are taken in coast of Antalya in the last three years (2018 – 2021). The first winner of each category will win five days accommodation for two between 16 – 19 May 2022 in Kemer/Antalya Participation in competition is free.
